Better for Your Health

Well fed, well treated cattle produce higher quality beef. The facts speak for themselves.

Nutritious & Delicious

Life is Better on the Ranch

The facts show grass fed beef is better for you. When you compare the meat from grass fed cattle compared to those fattened in a commercial feedlot and given growth hormones and steroids there simply is no comparison. Grass fed beef gives you more of the good fats such as Omega-3 fatty acids which are “heart friendly” fats and studies show they may reduce the risk of cancer, and grass fed beef is lower in saturated fats. Grass fed beef is also richer in antioxidants; including Vitamin E, Beta-Carotene, and Vitamin C.

In addition, grass fed beef has fewer calories. Research shows that a 6 oz steak from a grass fed steer has about 100 less calories than that same steak out of a grain fed steer!  According to the Journal of Animal Science grass fed beef also has about the same amount of fat as skinless chicken or wild deer or elk. Research also indicates that lean meat can actually lower your LDL — bad cholesterol — levels.

Acres Means Happy Cattle

White Angus Ranch Cattle

In addition to the health benefits to the consumer, the treatment of grass fed animals is more humane for the cattle as well.

White Angus Ranch grass fed cattle are free to roam and graze 1000 acres of lush grass pasture and stand in the cool shade of the woods. White Angus cattle also have access to fresh water at all times. White Angus cattle are never injected with growth hormones or antibiotics nor do they eat feed injected with antibiotics or growth hormones. Happy, healthy cattle actually do produce better beef.
